Tuesday night was Brian's soccer party. Initially we were all going to go as a family. But the party was at
John's Incredible Pizza, if you've never been there........ wow, it's an..........
experience! It's like Chuck-E-Cheese......... ON CRACK! It's an all you can eat buffet, the food is of better quality than Chuck-E-Cheese (that's a plus for parents), and they have several theme rooms to eat in. There are several theme rooms including a cartoon theater, extreme sports, hall of fame, music video, and cabin fever (the quite room

) The rooms are crazy cool, and that's just where you eat. Then you head into the game room area, where there is video games, rides (YES RIDES), a glow bowling area and more!
So as I said, we were all going to go as a family. But Chris and I were both exhausted, had a TON of work to get done, and decided it would be best for one of us to take Brian.
We asked Brian who he's prefer go with him, and he picked Mommy!!!! Now mind you both Chris and I didn't care if we went or stayed home. We both had a lot of work to get done, and we both would have like to go out with Brian. But I really thought he would pick his Dad. I gotta say, my heart soared when he asked me to go with him, so he's not completely embarrassed by me yet!
We had a great time, his coach had goody bags for them with some soccer themed gifts, they had a little framed photo from soccer, and they each got awarded trophies. And I have to say, I was SUCH a proud mom when coach described Brian, and what a strong player he was. We had a REALLY great coach this year who really encouraged each kid's strength through the season, and had wonderful things to say about each player on Tuesday night. We are looking forward to our off season get togethers and pickup games and hope to get coach Walker next year!
What a goofy boy! Check out that tongue!
Then after dinner and the awards ceremony it was off to play some games. Parents if you want to check out John's Incredible Pizza I encourage you to go on a weeknight. It was actually quite pleasant on Tuesday night, the kids had fun, hardly had to wait to play any games or go on rides, if at all, and the craziness level in the game room was at a low roar rather than ear piercing insanity
Check out how many tickets Brian won in the games! WOW! And he played a lot of video games and rides so he would have won even more if he did only ticket games, he was so excited with how many he had!
I LOVE this photo of Brian trying to do the math on the prized he wanted and how many tickets he'd have left! Oh, and ONE MORE proud Mama brag! Brian chose a set of temporary tattoos for himself, and then all on his own, with no suggestion from me, decided to get his siblings a small gift each since they couldn't come!

I'm so proud of him!!!!
