Ahhhh its starting to feel like fall time again. The colors of the trees are changing, the air is becoming crisp and cool in the mornings, and the holidays are right around the corner. Its crazy how time flies so fast. Last week Jen met up with Alena, up in Penryn at Griffith Quarry to photograph her senior portraits. Alena is my cousin and its so crazy that she is a senior now. Seems like yesterday she was still in elementary school and now shes a senior. CRAZY!!!!! They walked all around the park chatting it up, and finding some great areas. The colors and the warm sunshine was so amazing. Jen came home from the session super excited from the session and immediately wanted to share them with me to look at. I would have to say that this session is one of my favorites that Jen has shot to date. Alena enjoy your blog teaser and we can’t wait to share the rest with you.

Last week I went down to Old Sacramento to meet up with Laura who is graduating from Sac State this year. She was at one of our weddings this year, which was the awesome couple of Robert & Jessica Ragadio. The weather was fantastic and Laura is such a beautiful girl. We walked around Old Sacramento for a few hours and just had a blast talking with her and getting to know her, plus shes TONS OF FUN!!! Laura I had a amazing time with you last week. Dude I always get stoked for senior sessions. Its one of the things I love to do as a photographer cause each one is always different and unique, and David’s is no exception. I was so stoked after this session that I couldn’t wait to get started on it. David is a hell of a cool kid, and not only is he cool, but dude, he loves Iron Maiden, one of my favorite bands back in the day, and he loves dirt bikes. A win win in my book, plus who doesn’t like Maiden?!?!?! One of the things he had mentioned in the questionnaire is that he wanted to incorporate his Maiden shirt, and dirt bike. Can we say STOKED!!! Any way David I had tons of fun with you bro. Enjoy your teaser and I cant wait to show you the rest!!

Last weekend I met up with one of the coolest kids EVA!!! His name is Erick and this kid was DA BOMB!!!!! One of the coolest things I noticed about him even before I met him was a question he answered on the questionnaire we send out to our clients to get a better idea of their personality. The question on our questionnaire was “Introduce me to yourself, your likes, dislikes, joys, fears, hobbies, what you enjoy doing in your free time, etc.” Erick Answered ” I’m a pretty simple. I enjoy video games, music (almost everything except country), mainly alternative rock, I enjoy Hockey. I am new to learning the guitar, but enjoy it. I believe in non-conformity when it comes to high school social aspects. I don’t follow, I tend to do my own thing.” LOVE THAT!!!! Already I was stoked to photograph him. We met up at my house and drove around to some cool places in Old Roseville. From the beginning Erick was awesome to chat with, and by the end of the session we were joking around and having a good time. One of the coolest things that happened while I was photographing him, A young woman walked by on the phone, stopped, and asked Erick ” what are you getting photos taken for?’ He replied “senior portraits”. The woman replied back ” cool I think your very cute” and then walked on. That was so awesome.

Wow, what can I say about Gina, so many wonderful things come to mind, beautiful, fun, full of life, joyful, an absolute JOY to be around…. I could go on and on!! I had such a great time last week with Gina down in Midtown for her senior portrait session! This girl can WORK IT in front of the camera, I’m telling you people, I was in HEAVEN photographing her!  Gina, thank you for such an awesome afternoon, enjoy your photo teaser, the rest of the photos are coming soon!
Because Gina is in face a HOT ITALIAN!
I could have spend hours at these colorful poles, they were so fun, and moving only an inch or two and you get a whole different look and colors. And well Gina, was WORKIN’ IT!
Like I said…. GORGEOUS!!!!

I had SUCH a great time with Dani at her senior portrait session last week! Dani is so fun and wow, just look at her smile! I warned her that the first few minutes of every session is really us just getting used to each other and her getting comfortable in front of the camera. I went on to joke that the first few photos are normally “practice” photos. Well she needed no practice let me tell you! I think this is one of the few sessions that the first few photos are in the blog post! Dani is just naturally comfortable and confident and radient!
Dani I had such a great time with you! Enjoy your teaser, the rest of the photos will be ready soon! Enjoy your senior year and ROCK IT OUT, like you did your portrait session!!!
