Wow the time has flown by and today I woke up and remembered the day that I married Jen.  I look back at the day before we were getting married getting her parents backyard finished up and decorated for the wedding, my nerves hitting me and getting super nervous, not sleeping much that night and then being woke up to a phone call from my brother Dean telling me “have you looked outside yet cause I think its going to rain at your wedding.  See ya later bro”  Always something to wake up to on your wedding day.  I will tell you this.  On that day when I was super nervous and didn’t eat anything that morning, when I saw Jen come down that isle, the nervousness went away instantly.  I was so happy at that moment seeing her, seeing us together, and being with her for the rest of my life.

Being with her is truly the best thing that has ever happened to me and on top of having 4 amazing kids, I couldn’t be more blessed.  Now dont get me wrong our relationship has had its ups and downs, like most relationships have.  We have been through alot of stuff together, have had fights that last all night, gone to bed angry at times, and just plain been fed up with things too, but we always come together and deal with those issues when they hit us and from those struggles and fights, it builds our relationship stronger and stronger, and I can’t ask for anything more.  There are so many things about Jen that still to this day make me feel so special.  Her beauty, her smile, her laughter, her smart ass attitude even makes me smile and chuckle.  Jen has always been a woman that takes no crap from anyone and has a strong will, which was one of the biggest things I loved and still love today about her.  Shes not the girly girl.  She’s just rad and as I write this its so amazing that I ended up with her, and plan to spend the rest of my life with.  Happy anniversery babe!!  You are the best gift I could ever get and have.  You make me feel awesome when I can wake up to you, work with you, and spend every moment with you.  I love you and cant wait for another 14 yerars to spend with you.

Usually when thanksgiving comes around we usually go and visit family, hang out, have great food, and just chill out.  This year though Jen and I had a different look on what we wanted to do for thanksgiving.  Instead of sticking around town, we decided to get out of town and go to San Diego for the entire week of thanksgiving with the family.  There is so much we want to share with you guys but we thought that for now we would share a summary of our awesome trip to LegoLand.  trust us, we want toshare it all with you guys but for now here is a quick teaser video of LegoLand.

Did I just say for score and 13 years ago????  Yup I did.  Wow how much time flies by so quickly and before you know it you were once in high school dating a awesome girl, and little did I know that I would be spending the rest of my life with that same woman.  Gosh has it really been 13 years????   So crazy!  Actually it was funny, last night Jen and I were sitting watching TV, and talking about how just yesterday we were living together in our first place, renting a 2 story town home/apartment for dirt cheap, in a bad part of town, not married yet, and then looking at us now, with 4 kids,

a business that we just celebrated our 4th year in business together last week, and now married for 13 years.  Check out this awesome shot of us back in the day on our wedding day.

Dang look how young we were.  Still blows my mind.  I don’t remember much of my wedding day.  No not cause I had drank to much that day, but because it came and went so quickly.  I remember being with my guys at a park having a beer before the wedding and I remember being super nervous until I was waiting for Jen to come down the isle and when I saw her, everything just stopped and she looked AMAZING, and all my nervousness went away right at that moment.  13 years and still truckin along.  In 2 years Jen and I plan on renewing our vows, which we are excited to do.  We have talked about it often and in May I proposed to her once again and fortunately she said yes!!  ;)

I love her with all my heart and will continue to do so.  Our relationship keeps growing stronger and better, and even though we have been through very rough times in our marriage and lives, we continue to move on and work through our tough times and trials, and those times even though they suck, they make us stronger, and my love for Jen keeps getting bigger.

These were taken by our great friends in San Diego Ohana Photography

I have said this before and its cheesy, but our marriage is like a good wine.  As it gets older, it gets better, and as I get older with Jen and my kids, life keeps getting better.  I love you babe.  You are my everything.  From having 4 beautiful kids, to being in business together for 4 years now, to being married for 13 years and counting, everything about you makes me complete.  What can I say I love my wife.

SHE’S SO HAWT!!!

These two were shot by our good friend Kerry McConnell

I love you Jen!!!

3 weeks ago, Jen’s parents and our family went and took a little adventure out to Lincoln to watch the meteor shower.  Last year there was a meteor shower, we woke up the kids from sleep at like 10pm, loaded them up in the van and drove out to Lincoln.    It was relaxing and fun.  The kids loved it.  We threw down a blanket on a dirt road and laid down and watched the sky fall.  This year we did the same except for the blanket on the ground. Papa brought his truck and all the kids laid down in the bed with blankets as the adults lounged in fold out chairs with coffee and hot chocolate.  Jen brought her tripod and camera out and took some long exposure shots of the meteors.  Its pretty cool and was a great time with the family.

Its only been a month since Brian’s Birthday.  Probably should blog about his party now huh.  ;)   Brian is now 11 and I cant believe how big he is getting.  Hes now in 5th grade now, and he’s in his 4th year of soccer.  This year he wanted to do a Nerf Dart Gun War at our house.  We bought a bunch of the darts and told his friends to bring their guns and play capture the flag.  Plus he made his own cake.  Yup my boy did that.  I am very proud to be his dad and cant wait to see what he does in the years to come.

Regan loading his machine gun.

Yup that’s Brian hiding in Bella’s playhouse.

Seriously how big is my boy??  and how sweaty is he??  Hahahahaha

Here is Brian’s cake.  He made all the fondant and cake and everything.  Pretty cool and creative.

Brian is such a dork but i love him and i love that he is a dork cause I’m a dork too.

Yesterday was the first day of school for the boys, and this is Aiden’s first ever day of school.  He did such a great job for his first day and Brian and Regan were excited to be going back to school to see their friends as well as their new teachers. Can’t believe that its school time already and how big all the kids are getting.   Before we know it it will be Christmas.  What the what????

Aiden was such a ham for these.

Bella isnt going to school yet, but she wanted to be involved as well so she wanted to have pictures with her lunch bag too.

Aiden was so good for his first day.

Aiden and his teacher Mrs. Kidder.

I love these Jen got of me and Aiden.

Regan was comfortable as usual on the first day.

Brian was super excited to be in 5th grade and be with his new teacher Mrs. Andrews.

Man where did summer go??  Already its time for the boys to get ready for school and that means that their awesome hair that they grew over the summer has to be cut off.  :( :( :(   Jen and I always get a little sad when the boys have to cut their hair before the new school year.  The good thing is that we have the best hair stylist for our family ever and so we are in good hands.  Lisa from Sacco Salon has been our hairstylist for the last few years and we love her.  She is the best!!!   Follow her on Facebook and Twitter and then go make a appointment and she will amaze you!  So this year we decided to have some fun with it and let them be themselves in these before and after photos of them.  Brian and Regan are so funny.

BEFORE:  Man both Brian and Regan had such Rad hair.

AFTER:
