I was so excited when I got a email from my friend Lauren, whom I photographed her Watch Me Grow Collection last year of Baby Kapri and heard that her and Brad were having another baby girl named Gracie. I absolutely love this family. And Watch Me Grow Collections are my absolute favorite! I get to hang with not only the family through the year, but I get to photograph all the milestones and quickly the baby grows during their 1st year.
Gracie is so adorable. With her beautiful blue eyes looking up at me, I can’t help but want to hold this little bundle of joy. She’s like a little twin of her big sister Kapri, I can’t tell you how many times as I was photographing her, I was taken back to the 1st time I photographed Kapri!
Brad & Lauren, Gracie is beautiful and I can’t believe how much Kapri has grown since the last time I saw her!
I can’t wait to show you the rest from your session but for now, enjoy your blog teaser.
I love watching Brad read to Kapri, so cute!!!
One of my favorites from the day!!!
Look at that little cutie with dad!
Capri helping mom with diaper duty!
Brad has been teaching Capri how to hunt which is super cute!!

Last Friday was met with mixed emotions for me. I was super excited to Brad, Lauren & Kapri again. It’s been a few months since our last session in Kapri’s “Watch Me Grow” Baby’s 1st Year Collection, and Kapri is off and walking!! But I was also bummed going into this session, because it was our last session in her collection.
I’ve so enjoyed seeing Kapri every few months and documenting her growth and personality over this last year. I’ve loved seeing Brad & Lauren regularly and becoming friends with them.
And finally the session you’re going to see today!
I mean really…. how can you NOT fall in love with adorable little girl??
I love seeing her climbing up and down the furniture now! She is such an active and happy little girl!!
Just look at the blur of motion!!
Like any little girl, she loves talking on the phone! (on a side note, one of my FAVORITE things to capture during my lifestyle portrait sessions is the looks of pure love that families exchange when they play together, and naturally interact with each other! These are the moments, and looks, that we parents want to remember forever!)
Kapri loves her dog Layla… and as you can see, her dog loves her!!
Now you may remember, that I love to show the growth of a baby through my “Watch Me Grow” Baby’s 1st Year Collections. Now that we’ve completed Kapri’s collection, just look at the growth from Newborn through her 1st year!
and finally, I know this is almost the same as above, but I just LOVE Lauren’s hand blurring into the photo to catch, if necessary the ever active Kapri!!
After finishing up our lifestyle photos at home, we headed out to a nearby park for Kapri to play!
At the end of our session, Brad & Lauren gave Kapri a giant Lollipop. What do you think… was she excited???
Brad & Lauren, thank you SO much for entrusting me with such important photos to document Kapri’s 1st year!!! I love you guys, and can’t wait to share the rest of the photos with you!!

Wow, where has the week gone, I had the best of intentions of having this blog post up Monday or Tuesday, and it’s now……. Friday??? Wow do the days fly by when you are busy!
Last week Regan celebrated his 7th birthday, and this Saturday he had all his school friends over for a PAR-TAY! Whew, what were Chris and I thinking………. 2 back to back soccer games in the morning, run to get last minute party supplies, straight home for the party to begin an hour later, and then 6 (yes 6) boys converged on our little home, not counting our own boys! Thankfully his party was a soccer theme and the weather was BEAUTIFUL so we proceeded to escort all the boys outside where they could run off all their energy and play soccer, jump on the trampoline, or just generally attack each other and whatever else little boys enjoy doing! hahaha
I think Chris and I were so exhausted from our day that we somehow missed to take many photos of the day. But here are a few highlights, including one of Chris that I just HAD to download from my phone
Chris rocking the nerf dart gun protective glasses, hey now you don’t need your Oakleys right???
Opening the gifts
LOVE this one of a few of the boys chillin on the couch watching Regan open his gifts!
YUM Cake & Cupcakes (and no for everyone who asked from Bella’s birthday this year I bought both kids cakes and cupcakes )
This sequence makes me laugh every time I see it. The boys went a little crazy with the green frosting on the cupcakes and Chris captured some GREAT images of it!!!! I LOVE these!!!!
We met Isabella Capri for the first time. I’m still in shock that it’s been a whole year! She is getting so big, and yet is still my little baby girl.
We had her birthday party this weekend, and I hope to share those photos later this week. In the meantime, here is a look back at the slideshow that Chris set up from her birth and the first time meeting her big brothers.
