Our clients rock bigtime. We love what we do and with clients like Matt & Tabatha, they make our jobs that much more enjoyable and fun! Last weekend during the weird crazy weather, Jen and I went out to Old Roseville to meet up with Matt & Tabitha to photograph their Engagement Session. We met Tabatha when we photographed Ali & Danny’sTrash the Dress Session and then met up with her again at one of our favorite couples ever wedding Jackson & Krista’s a few years ago. Matt & Tabatha are super fun. They truly love each other and it really shows when you are around them. Tabitha is a down to earth fun girl and Matt is great. His sense of humor is awesome and he was making us laugh throughout the session. Matt & Tabatha we had a awesome time with you both. Enjoy your blog teaser, and we can’t wait to share the rest with you soon!!!

I can’t believe that already we are in June. The kids are just about out of school, memorial day weekend has come and gone, and when is summer going to come? I swear that when summer FINALLY approaches it wont be a slow process to warm up, it will just go from 70′s to 100+ like that. Regardless of this crazy weather, last weekend we met up with Ryan & Krista to photograph their Engagement Session in Newcastle. We love the town of Newcastle. Its quiet and has some awesome areas to shoot in and every time we go there, we always find a new place to photograph in. Ryan & Krista ROCKED!! They are totally fun to be around and just like to have a good time. The weather was killer and their session went well. Ryan & Krista we had a awesome time with you both. Enjoy your blog teaser and we can’t wait to show you the rest from your session.

I know its been a while since we posted about more of our trip to San Diego. So many great memories of our trip that I can’t seem to put them all into one post, well I could but it would be massive so i needed to simplify down. ;)
So in this segment of our trip, we had some time to just be at the ocean and just hang out. We went to a beach in Encinitas, which by the way is the coolest town i have been to in a while. Small but filled with great restaurants and has a feel to it all its own. We grabbed some lunch and headed to the beach. The boys got to borrow some boogie boards from our good friends The Baxters from Ohana Photographers the day before when we spent Thanksgiving with them. Such good times. The day was amazing and was just what this family needed. A day to be close, have fun, and relax, and of course to watch the sun go down. All in all a perfect day!!
Miss boo of course hamming it up for the camera!
Getting ready to brave the COLD ocean. These boys had no fear at all of how cold it was in the water.
Both the boys riding a wave.
Regan catching his first wave……………….and then wiping out!!
Brian is growing up so fast. Look at how big he is.
I LOVE THIS MOMENT!! JEn was reading to the little ones as the sun was going down. They loved it.
Jen and I 13 years ago took a photo like this on our honeymoon.

Usually when thanksgiving comes around we usually go and visit family, hang out, have great food, and just chill out. This year though Jen and I had a different look on what we wanted to do for thanksgiving. Instead of sticking around town, we decided to get out of town and go to San Diego for the entire week of thanksgiving with the family. There is so much we want to share with you guys but we thought that for now we would share a summary of our awesome trip to LegoLand. trust us, we want toshare it all with you guys but for now here is a quick teaser video of LegoLand.
Blair Van Bussel : Looks like the kids had an awesome time! I love that there is a theme park for little kids! I cant wait till Jordan is big enough to get him a LL pass. ( 12.14.2010 - 09:03 )
Man the month of November was a crazy one thats for sure, but even in all the craziness, we found time as a family to spend in San Diego for the week of Thanksgiving. ( which by the way that blog post will be coming soon ). During that week, we met up with some good friends of ours, Ricky & Lena. They go down to San Diego every year to visit Ricky’s Family and they wanted us to photograph the two of them while we were down there so of course we would do it. We went to Balboa Park which is a amazing park in San Diego and we just walked around and had a amazing time there. The weather in San Diego is always great. I was telling Jen the other day that I think we just need to move there and raise our family and business there cause god is calling us there. Rick & Lena we love you guys. You two are a big part of our lives and friendship and all of our kids love you both BIGTIME!! Hope you two enjoy your teaser from your session.

Did I just say for score and 13 years ago???? Yup I did. Wow how much time flies by so quickly and before you know it you were once in high school dating a awesome girl, and little did I know that I would be spending the rest of my life with that same woman. Gosh has it really been 13 years???? So crazy! Actually it was funny, last night Jen and I were sitting watching TV, and talking about how just yesterday we were living together in our first place, renting a 2 story town home/apartment for dirt cheap, in a bad part of town, not married yet, and then looking at us now, with 4 kids,
a business that we just celebrated our 4th year in business together last week, and now married for 13 years. Check out this awesome shot of us back in the day on our wedding day.
Dang look how young we were. Still blows my mind. I don’t remember much of my wedding day. No not cause I had drank to much that day, but because it came and went so quickly. I remember being with my guys at a park having a beer before the wedding and I remember being super nervous until I was waiting for Jen to come down the isle and when I saw her, everything just stopped and she looked AMAZING, and all my nervousness went away right at that moment. 13 years and still truckin along. In 2 years Jen and I plan on renewing our vows, which we are excited to do. We have talked about it often and in May I proposed to her once again and fortunately she said yes!! ;)
I love her with all my heart and will continue to do so. Our relationship keeps growing stronger and better, and even though we have been through very rough times in our marriage and lives, we continue to move on and work through our tough times and trials, and those times even though they suck, they make us stronger, and my love for Jen keeps getting bigger.
I have said this before and its cheesy, but our marriage is like a good wine. As it gets older, it gets better, and as I get older with Jen and my kids, life keeps getting better. I love you babe. You are my everything. From having 4 beautiful kids, to being in business together for 4 years now, to being married for 13 years and counting, everything about you makes me complete. What can I say I love my wife.
doug and ash : Wow you two...those are some classic shots. Congratulations on everything! ( 10.08.2010 - 04:39 )
