Man the weather has changed so quickly lately.  I know its not technically winter yet, but man its cold in our house when we wake up every morning.  On Monday this week we met up with Joseph and Christina for their engagement session.  Joseph actually was one of the kids I used to mentor at Sunrise Community Church, the church we attend, when Jen and I were a part of the High School Ministry, and we have known Christina the same amount of time.  We went to this great natural area in Orangevale called Snipes Pershing Park for their session.  I grew up in Orangevale as a kid and I never knew about this area until last year. Its pretty awesome.  The trees, the open natural area.  Its pretty rad if you ask me.  We walked all around the area with them and had a amazing time with them.  They both are so in love with each other and love being with each other its contagious.  Joseph & Christina, we so so sooooooo had a amazing time with you both.  Enjoy your blog teaser and we can’t wait to share the rest with you.

Ahhhhh its a foggy morning here, I have my cup of coffee next to me, some of my favorite music playing in the background, NOFX, and getting ready to drop another awesome couple on our blog today, and that couple you might be asking about is none other then Rob & Dana.  These two love being outdoors, being with their dog, cooking together, and love wine.  Wine is actually a big part of their love.  They enjoy going wine tasting, cooking together, and in my opinion both those together are a match made in heaven.  We met them in Clarksburg, a small town off the delta that is beautiful, at Bogle Vineyards.  Such a awesome area.  The colors, the vineyards, and the quietness was amazing.  Rob & Dana, you two rock big time, and we had a amazing time with you.  Thanks for the glass of wine after our session too.  It was delicious.  Enjoy your teaser and we can’t wait to share the rest with you both.

There are some photo shoots that we look forward to.  The ones that you think about ideas way ahead of time and get excited for.  You get excited for the couple, and the bond they have and the real emotion that they portray.  Well one such couple is Ryan & Lisa.  They are good friends of ours and Lisa is our hairstylist at Vola Salon in Newcastle.   We connected with them a couple years back and they are super awesome.  So fun to be around and funny too.  We met up at Griffith Rock Quarry and walked all around the park.  Its beautiful and has alot of trails that go forever it felt like.  They also wanted to include the kids within the session which is always cool.  New families being brought together is so rad.  We even ended the shoot with dinner at their house, which by the way is always great.  Ryan & Lisa we so so so loved your session.  Enjoy the teaser here  and we can’t wait to share the rest with you both.

Last week Jen and I traveled to Apple Hill to photograph Mike & Valerie’s Engagement session.  Apple Hill is a place that we take our family each year.  Its our yearly family trip to escape the city life and go to the country, have some apple pie, carmel apple, pick up a bottle of wine for the holidays, and just relax.   If you haven’t been there before and you live in Sacramento or Roseville, you really really need to go sometime.  We met them at Rainbow orchards and began the session in the apple orchards and right from the beginning Mike & Valerie were super fun.  We drove around apple hill and found some cool spots that we pulled off the road and photographed them there.  What can I say except we had alot of fun with them.  Mike & Valerie you two are awesome!! Last weekend Jen and I went out to West Sacramento to meet up with Paul & Nikki for their Engagement Session.  Last month we met up with them at another wedding we photographed, which was Kgosi & Courtney’s wedding.  These two are awesome!!!  Their personalities and sense of humor just totally pulls you in and then your hooked.  We had a great time with them.  After their session we went to dinner with them and got to know them even more.  Paul & Nikki we can’t wait for your wedding day and we can’t wait to show you the rest of the photos from your session.

Fun, Fun, Fun times, and fun couples.  Last week Jen and I met up with Mc & Kathryn out in Roseville to photograph their Engagement Session.  Mc & Kathryn are a couple that is laid back, super funny, and really just great to be around.  I know I say that alot about our couples but its true.  Our couples are amazing and Mc & Kathryn seriously are amazing.  We went out to some new open field areas and walked around and just had a great time with them.  Mc & Kathryn we had so so so much fun with you two.  Enjoy your blog teaser and we can’t wait to share the rest with you soon.

We have been loving our couples.  It seems like every couple we meet with there is always something unique about them that we love and love photographing about them.  Take Anthony & Emilie, they are a super cool down to earth couple that is fun, easy to talk to , and full of love for each other.  We met up with them last week in Downtown Sacramento at their home and ventured around the city to photograph their session.  They wanted to capture who they are as a couple and teh places that they met at and ate at so that’s what we did.  We drove around to a few of their favorite spots and captured them in their essence when they first went to those places and continue to go to.  It was alot of fun.  Anthony & Emilie we had tons of fun with you both and we can’t wait for your wedding day.  Enjoy your engagement teaser and we will be sharing the rest with you very soon.
