Its 2012, and its supposed to be winter time but it feels alot like spring already. I wont complain about that though. It makes for great days outside with the kiddos and with friends and clients. The Andrew family is pretty rad in my book. Cathy is, our son Brian’s teacher at school and shes awesome. She does such a great job with the kids and it shows. Brian has learned so so much from her and continues to grow up way to fast. I met up with the family at Maidu Park last week and they brought their dogs and we walked around along the trials in the back there and had alot of fun. Sarah and Jake, we photographed their engagement session as well as their wedding last year so photographing them too was a joy. They are amazing. I got to meet Laura and David for the first time and they too are a awesome couple. It was alot of fun. Cathy your family is awesome. I had a great time with them. Enjoy your blog teaser and we can’t wait to share the rest of the photos with you.
Meet the family.

David and Laura. They are pretty rad if I do say so myself.

Love it!!

Jake & Sarah.

They are such a beautiful couple.

Cathy & Randy

Love it!!!

OMG!!!! One of my Fav’s!!!

All the ladies together.

Man the weather has changed so quickly lately. I know its not technically winter yet, but man its cold in our house when we wake up every morning. On Monday this week we met up with Joseph and Christina for their engagement session. Joseph actually was one of the kids I used to mentor at Sunrise Community Church, the church we attend, when Jen and I were a part of the High School Ministry, and we have known Christina the same amount of time. We went to this great natural area in Orangevale called Snipes Pershing Park for their session. I grew up in Orangevale as a kid and I never knew about this area until last year. Its pretty awesome. The trees, the open natural area. Its pretty rad if you ask me. We walked all around the area with them and had a amazing time with them. They both are so in love with each other and love being with each other its contagious. Joseph & Christina, we so so sooooooo had a amazing time with you both. Enjoy your blog teaser and we can’t wait to share the rest with you.
Meet Joseph & Christina!

LOVE THIS!!!

Ok so we can’t take credit for this idea. My buddy down south Adam George of Embrace life Photography, had done something like this and Joseph & Christina saw it and wanted to do the same thing, so we did.

Love these next few.

OMG!!!

Seriously they are so adorable!!

One of my favorite shots of the session. They read the bible together alot and it just was a great way to capture who they are as a couple. I LOVE IT!!!!

This session has been in the works, anticipated, and looked forward to for a LOOOONG time…. Our good friends Zach & Anne have a brand new baby in their household and we couldn’t be more excited for them. They have been trying to adopt for the past 2 years. The journey for them wasn’t smooth. They had had many bumps along this journey, and been matched with 7 birth moms, for something to not work out. I can’t imagine the roller-coaster ride they have been through emotionally and mentally. And yet through all this they have remained faithful and dedicated to both the process and each other. You can read their story about it on their family blog. Regardless of all the trials and tribulations, God works in mysterious ways and now has blessed them with a beautiful baby girl named Providence. Zach and Anne- Jen and I are so so happy for you both!!! Jen broke down in tears when she heard the good news that you were bringing Providence home with you!!! Your new baby girl is so adorable and sweet. Enjoy your blog teaser and we can’t wait to share the rest with you both.

Love this shot!!

Ohhh Hello!! :)

And once again love this shot of Zach calming down Providence.

Ahhhhh its a foggy morning here, I have my cup of coffee next to me, some of my favorite music playing in the background, NOFX, and getting ready to drop another awesome couple on our blog today, and that couple you might be asking about is none other then Rob & Dana. These two love being outdoors, being with their dog, cooking together, and love wine. Wine is actually a big part of their love. They enjoy going wine tasting, cooking together, and in my opinion both those together are a match made in heaven. We met them in Clarksburg, a small town off the delta that is beautiful, at Bogle Vineyards. Such a awesome area. The colors, the vineyards, and the quietness was amazing. Rob & Dana, you two rock big time, and we had a amazing time with you. Thanks for the glass of wine after our session too. It was delicious. Enjoy your teaser and we can’t wait to share the rest with you both.
The light out there was so beautiful!!! OMG!!

Like I said………..BEAUTIFUL!!

LOVE.IT!!

They are so dang cute together.

and they like to kiss can you tell?? ;)

One of my favorite shots that Jen captured.

It has been a awesome 2011 for us. What a year. Our final wedding of the year couldn’t have ended on a better note. A few weeks ago Jen and I met up with Dan & Lindsay for their wedding at The Croatian Center. Now from their Engagement Session, we automatically connected with them. They are a couple that is totally fun, easy going, and RAD!!! Their wedding was simple, yet stylish and fun. We loved the ceremony as well cause instead of having everyone sit in rows like normal, they had a few rows on both sides with tables behind them so it felt much more casual and intimate for family and guests. Pretty rad if you ask me. Their day was so amazing and like I said before we couldn’t have ended our wedding season on a better note then with Dan & Lindsay. Guys, we hope you enjoy your wedding teaser and we so can’t wait to share the rest of your wedding day with you.

Its Friday and almost time for the weekend. Hope you all are having a great morning today. A few weeks ago Jen and I drove to Newcastle, to meet up with Chris & Holly for their wedding day. We love this couple. They are so funny and love to be goofy ( which I love to be goofy around Jen to bug her sometimes ) around each other. they laugh together and just put off a vibe that makes you feel super comfortable and almost like you have been friends with them from the start. The wedding day was at Newcastle Wedding Gardens and the weather we thought was going to rain that day according to the weather reports, but it didn’t rain at all, and the day was fantastic. One of the coolest things we have seen to date at a wedding reception was they decided not to have a bar, but they decided to have a coffee bar, with a barista that made anything from latte’s, to mocha’s, to anything else you could think of. Jen and I had to try one and they were so tasty. What a unique idea for a wedding. Chris & Holly your wedding was so amazing. Enjoy your wedding blog teaser and we can’t wait to share the rest with you guys!

Chris looking awesome!!

Holly looking beautiful!

The details were super simple and cool. They collect Ceramic pigs so of course they had to have them in the wedding.

The guys!

The ladies

I love this shot jen captured of Holly watching as guests start to show up.

LOVE THIS SHOT!!!

I love when everyone cries at the ceremony!

This was clever. In order to get the rings out the groomsmen planned to have the rings within 3 different cases and the last one had to be opened with a key one of the friends had in the seats. It was pretty funny and awesome!

Super fun wedding party!!

I love this shot of them laughing together after the ceremony!

OMG!!!

The dances with Chris’s mom and Holly’s dad were amazing!

Ahhhh its starting to feel like fall time again. The colors of the trees are changing, the air is becoming crisp and cool in the mornings, and the holidays are right around the corner. Its crazy how time flies so fast. Last week Jen met up with Alena, up in Penryn at Griffith Quarry to photograph her senior portraits. Alena is my cousin and its so crazy that she is a senior now. Seems like yesterday she was still in elementary school and now shes a senior. CRAZY!!!!! They walked all around the park chatting it up, and finding some great areas. The colors and the warm sunshine was so amazing. Jen came home from the session super excited from the session and immediately wanted to share them with me to look at. I would have to say that this session is one of my favorites that Jen has shot to date. Alena enjoy your blog teaser and we can’t wait to share the rest with you.

LOVE.THIS.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!
