Our couple this year are so cool.  So much fun and so full of humor, and energy, and excitement.  One such couple that we had fun with last week is Rick and Nicole.  They are a sweet couple that just enjoy each other and laugh and smile.  we met up with them up in the old town of Nevada City.  Very cool little town to walk around and talk and take some photos of them.  It was a great day there and we had alot of fun with them.  Rick and Nicole, enjoy these few blog teasers and we can’t wait to share with you the rest from the session.

There comes a time when Jen and I are a part of a awesome wedding day with a great couple and you just don’t want to leave cause you are enjoying the day with them and having a great time and you don’t want to leave and that one such couple my friends is James and Kelly.  I mean I dont even know where to start with these two.  They are fun, funny, easy going, happy, excited, full of energy……I can keep going here….  :)  You get the picture they are just a fun couple.  We met them on their wedding day at the FANTASTIC venue called Inn at Park Winters.  Seriously if you can GO TO THIS PLACE!!!

Its beautiful.  From the indoors and the architecture, to the grounds outside, it is truly stunning.  The day started out with Jen going to hang with the ladies and myself with the guys.  It was a full day of activities from the guys spending time in the pool and playing frisbee, to hanging out and having lunch with them, to having a drink with them at the end of the night when we were off.  It was truly a amazing day.  James and Kelly you two are amazing people.  You both  have such a amazing heart for each other and for your family and friends.  We love that about you guys.  We hope that you enjoy this teaser from your wedding day and we are so excited for you guys to see the rest.  Enjoy you two!

Meet Nick.  This kid is awesome.  Not only did he rock this session big-time  but I had a great time talking to him about baseball.  The day before the session he was playing for his High School team and hit a grand-slam out of the park.  He even brought the ball to the session to use which was pretty rad.  We met up in midtown and walked all around and had a great time.  I dig it when the seniors get into the session and enjoy it.  Nick you rock bro!!!  I had a great time with you.  Enjoy your blog teaser and I can’t wait to share the rest with you soon.

Our first wedding of 2013 and we couldn’t have asked for more of a amazing couple then Kellen and Moriah.  Such a sweet couple that is super nice, full of smiles, and just amazing.  We met them up at Willow Creek Events in Browns Valley, this place is just beautiful.  Kristen and her husband do such a fantastic job setting things up and just doing a great job all over making sure that the couple is taken care of and also the vendors.  one of the best teams to work with up there that’s for sure.

The day was beautiful and the weather was perfect.  Wasn’t too hot and wasn’t cold.  Just perfect.  From the start Kellen and his guys were chill, hanging out on the other side of the venue playing ping pong, enjoying some food and having a drink together and just excited to celebrate the day.  Good times.  Moriah and her girls were chill as well and ready to celebrate too.   Always good when the couple is just excited about the day and excited to celebrate their day with family and friends.

What more can I say except we love these two.  Kellen and Moriah thank you so much for having us be a part of your special day. It was amazing.  Enjoy this blog teaser of some of our favorite from the day and we can’t wait to share the rest with you guys very soon.

Last week we met up with Jeremiah and Kristina at Stock Ranch park in Citrus Heights.  Super cool couple.  I felt bad for Jeremiah as he was fighting a cold that started the day before, but he was a trooper and toughed it out.  That’s cool.  As we walked around the park, we enjoyed talking with them both and getting to know them better.  Its one of the many reasons we love doing the engagement session cause it gives us a chance to connect with our couples on a personal level and help them to get comfortable with us and just know that on the wedding day, its going to be great.

I always enjoy when i get the chance to photograph newborns and I love following as they grow up when we do our Watch Me Grow Collections with our clients, but this time its different cause I get to follow the growth and cuteness of our friends Rick & Lena with their cute little baby boy Will.  A few weeks ago I photographed Baby Will being born, and now I am photographing as he grows and changes.  Its one of my favorite things to do.  Just in a few weeks its so amazing to see the changes already in him.  Hes so cute!!

I had alot of fun just hanging out with Rick, Lena and Will and just visiting and seeing them as a family now.  So awesome!!!  Rick and Lena, you guys are such wonderful friends and are going to be awesome parents to Will.  I can’t wait for our next session and see the growth in him.  Enjoy the blog teaser!!  :)

Jen and I have been having alot of fun with out couples for 2013.  Its always a blast when we get questionnaires from our couples telling us more about them as a couple and then reading on and seeing what makes each other laugh and smile and that couple we are talking about is James & Kelly.  They ROCK!!!  Seriously Jen and I can not wait for their wedding day.  they are funny, goofy, sweet, and just have alot of fun together.  We met them in Downtown Sacramento to walk around Mid-Town and just hang out with them.
